Fuel producers can apply for a share of £400k in Government funding for the development, testing, and qualification of SAF, provided their projects meet the established eligibility criteria.

The initiative has supported a broad spectrum of fuel producers, from newcomers entering the industry to those advancing into the evaluation and qualification stages of their projects. It has also made a positive impact on industry aviation fuel specifications through active contributions to ASTM International and the Defence Standard Executive Committee.
In addition, the UK SAF Clearing House has built formal partnerships with a range of testing laboratories and pilot-scale hydroprocessing facilities to strengthen the UK’s SAF testing infrastructure. Furthermore, by achieving ISO 9001 certification, the UK SAF CH has demonstrated its commitment to delivering the highest quality services to its customers.
